This 110 year old log cabin sits nestled in the woods with views of Lake Superior and its own private beach that hosts unforgettable sunset views. It was home to one of the last two remaining boat houses on Madeline Island, hence the name, Boathouse Lodge.
The multi building property sits on 5 acres surrounded by hundreds of white pine and maple trees. Located less than a mile from the golf course and less than 2 miles from town, (a quick bike ride or nice walk) the location provides easy access to enjoy the wonderful businesses of La Pointe - shops, restaurants, bars, and the golf course. The location is the best of both worlds- privacy and serenity only a few minutes from town.
With over 400 feet of Superior lakeshore and a large private, sandy beach, this cabin is a beach and swimming lovers paradise.
